I agree with much of what you said.

Haye does have a punchers' chance in this fight (although he would have no chance whatsoever against the tougher, very durable Vitali).

But if he wins, it will have to be by KO in the first three rounds. If Wlad makes it into the 4th, he will be into his rhythm and Haye will have no chance. Never mind the Purrity and Brewster fights, Wlad paces himself unlike when he fought Purrity, and is careful with his blood sugar unlike when he fought Brewster the first time.

Haye's only chance is to do what Sanders did, and I think he knows it. I'll be fair and give him a 10-20% chance of winning this fight.

They're not scared - or the fight wouldn't have come off. but they're looking to get the upper hand/mental edge in everything, and that starts at the negotiating table. Now it's up to Haye to apply that mental pressure on Wlad at every press conference, meeting, everything.

One aspect about Haye that I don't see anyone really discussing is the reason why Haye has such a high KO percentage. In my opinion it is because he wings his punches from all over the place. From right field and from left field he even throws uppercuts while constantly leaving himself wide open for counter punches. That is why I believe he may have been better off taking on Vitali first. He is the older of the two and always fights with his hands way down and is nowhere near the boxer that Wlad is. For those reasons I believe he would be much easier to hit then Wlad. I also believe that Wlad's weak chin is overrated. His stoppage loses were all an accumulation of punches and never one punch knock outs and Lennox Lewis can't even make that claim. With that being said I believe Haye still has a punchers chance. However, I don't care what anyone says ole Monte was able to hit and hurt Haye while depositing him on his butt. So, I see no reason why Wlad will not be able to easily counter punch Haye to hell and back before he takes his head off.
