He absolutely told Marg that they would meet down the line. The big fights came Floyd's way, and Marg lost, and didn't get the big fanbase... and that derailed it.

But Marg shoulda taken the Zab replacement date. I guess that Gomez fight was more important to him.

He coulda fought either one in the 1st half of 2007. He said after the Baldomir fight he had more $ than he could ever spend, so not defendin the legit world title at 147 against the top contenders over bigger $ fights was bull****. I was still a fan of his at the time and defended him takin on DLH cuz I believed he'd face Cotto after that. but then he went and fought Hatton. I still respect him, I just don't like him anymore.

It's just hilarious when people claim Ricky won 3-4 rounds of that fight. He was outclassed the entire fight, and only won a single round of a 10 round fight.

This video displays just how good Floyd is at infighting (he can do it with the best of them), and just how underrated his body punching is. Floyd is a damn good body puncher.
