Thats true, because Floyd Mayweather fans want Ricky Hatton to beat Pacman just to have a reason to say Mayweather is better because he beat Hatton and Manny couldn't. Manny win or lose is a great fighter that has to still prove himself in the 140 pound weight.

He beat Oscar, but manny had lots of speed advantage so we still have to see if a faster and still strong fighter like Hatton has enough to defeat Pacquiao. If Manny Pacquiao can take Hattons punch, I dont see why he should lose to him.

Ability or not, for some additude and exteroir character mean alot. You can have all the skill in the world but for some, their reasons for like and dislike may be different than the next person, you have to respect that.

I understand if somebody doesn't LIKE Floyd. You can't force fans to like an athlete's personality. Especially a guy like Floyd - he is very polarizing. He has chosen to embrace the bad guy persona on two seperate 24/7 series. And, as you see in the video below, he gets a charge out of belittling well-liked fighters.

But the criticism he gets isn't just about his personality.

He fought fighters up to 154. The Cotto fight was declined by ARUM. Not by PBF.

He absolutely told Marg that they would meet down the line. The big fights came Floyd's way, and Marg lost, and didn't get the big fanbase... and that derailed it.

But Marg shoulda taken the Zab replacement date. I guess that Gomez fight was more important to him.
