I'm not downplaying UK's buying power when it comes to Ricky Hatton's fights, and I know they're reliable enough about their numbers, but the guy insist that boxing is worldwide, and worldwide doesn't mean UK and USA only. I didn't mention England as the same class as those nation/nations that I've previously mentioned, but the guy is not that crazy to bet on under, if the over/under is 750K, if we include the UK buys, he's out of his mind because the UK buys alone might cover that.

Seeing the way ur economy is going, our spending is way down, and PPV buys have also been down for a while now. In America this fight will probably do aroun 800-900K buys. It will be a big success in the UK though.

I think you're forgetting the "synergistic" effects of this match-up.

Hypothetically:
If Pac vs bum = 300,000
and Hatton vs bum = 300,000

Pac vs Hatton = 600,000 + synergy (make an estimate figure)

In the US 650k. It's going to be marketed very well but the facts remain there isn't an American fighting or a Mexican, Puerto Rican or even a Canadian.
