Mundine Says Geale May Be Final Bout in Australia

If there is anyone I am sick of it's Mundine. What happened to that guy who was the biggest Mundine fan ever on this board?

He finally got the message and left. He could no longer believe his own bull**** as well.

Basically I think that Australians arent use to the American style Hype that Mundine brings to his fights in Australia. Therefore Americans seem to thrive on the HYPE and the fans love it in the states. Australians tend to get very upset because they have the stereotypical mentality of being the Good aussie battler, or just a good Aussie bloke who cops it on the chin and is fair dinkum about everything and cops it with no vaso.

On the other hand Mundine does have fans here though not too many I could say. And put it this way that most people that hate Mundine arent boxing fans. If your a true boxing fan you would understand what boxing hype is about right ??????

Im not making excuses for him fighting bums but just lets face it aye Australians boxers have been bashing Thai kick boxers and any decent fighter here has done what mundine is doing time and again for decades now, so i would start with Australian boxing before I'd start with Mundine to be fair ???????

Mundine does have talent and I believe he has potential, I am hoping for a big fight soon though.

When I was in Australia I never met one Aussie who liked him, and Aussies seem to support any Australian in any sport, more so than any other country I've been to. They'd watch in the hope he got badly KOd.

At the end of the day Mundine is a pretty good fighter. I'd like to see him fight the top guys out there. I'd pick him to beat someone like Felix Sturm.

I don't mind guys like Floyd doing it etc, because they can back it up. But Mundine hasn't done **** and he goes around talking like Mayweather. He even brought along $100 bills to a press conference like Floyd.
I can handle the hype, but what I can't handle is Mundine fighting bum after bum after bum and claiming he is the "Greatest". Talk about living in a world of disillusion.

Vic is sometimes a little outspoken and the Australian public don't mind him. Mundine is just a Tool and always has been. He was hated by the public while he was a Ruby League player. All the guy had to do was pass the football and his team would have won a Grand Final, but the prick didn't.
