Very true! And further more what a joke that he carries on like he was won real world championships. The real world champ is the one they have listed as the "super champ" Mundine should only be number 1 contender.

As for him facing improved competition, I will believe it when I see it!

Yep, definitely. Who knows why it's here? Maybe he paid someone? How else he gets any publicity anywhere is beyond me.

Lol at you defending that crap of a title, you must work for them. Just what boxing needs... another corrupt boxing organization trying to get sanctioning fees and fool the general public into thinking their title represents the real champion of the world. Hatton-Pacquiao is for the Ring and lineal 140 lb. titles; I wouldn't be surprised if they were paying Hatton and/or Pacquiao to promote it as if it is for the IBO.

Would you like to state the matches in which the paper IBO title were won in? The same garbage the IBF and WBO did when they came in.

have you seen geale fight, he may have an undefeated record, a high ranking and an ibo title, but imo, hes only just barely if at all a step up from a five years and 2 weight divisions past hes best shannon taylor

i grew up with one of anthony's early opponents (i wont say who) i met him at golden gloves in queensland maybe a year after his bout and of course we got around to it...i told him i'd seen him better than that. he revealed that he was paid enough to buy a new car and the rest went to a deposit on a house, the understanding was that he didnt train or fight too hard.
i have always considered the man a sham with a padded record.

When I was in Australia I never met one Aussie who liked him, and Aussies seem to support any Australian in any sport, more so than any other country I've been to. They'd watch in the hope he got badly KOd.

He had one or two fans here and there that liked the he was a smart arse but he's always been hated by 90% of the general public and I dare say it's even higher than that now.
