lets get real. almost nobody gave him a chance. take a look at the threads before the match. dlh was favored to win because logic points out he should.

What type of shape do you think Oscar was in then? You think he was prime still?

Oscar landed more on Pernell. Are you saying Pacman has better movement than Pernell now or even Floyd

the same shape when he fought floyd, and the fact that Floyd was comfortable against the rope and not doing much ring and head movement gave him the chances to throw punches..

he wasn't prime, but he was just about as good as when he fought floyd and forbes... i think he was affected by going down to 147 but it's an exaggeration to say that he was weight drained. there are many factors playing in the fight. and weight was just one of them

Man, do these haters have short memories or what???

These same people just prior to the fight said that PAC would lose horribly to DLH no matter what, even if DLH was weight drained, out of shape, one handed, etc....etc... I even recall posters saying it only took one left hook and its lights out..LMAO.. But, now they're making excuses like shyt is gonna go out of style...

Newsflash, DLH got slapped up silly... Haters could fantasize who could have, would have, should have, beaten DLH that night but the only thing real is the a$$whipping PAC dealt DLH that night...

I'm being very real. What logic are you referring to that Oscar should have won? The fact that he had multiple titles at multiple weight classes? The fact that he was a bigger fighter than Manny, both in stature and reputation? The fact that he had more "big fight" experience? I base my personal logic on the fights that I've seen, and based upon that - I felt that Oscar had a puncher's chance; at best to beat Manny.

The second I saw DLH had only gained like 2 pounds, I was like "bad news". He should've outweighed Manny by 10 pounds at least. Then I saw him and he looked dried and I was like, "baaaad news". Then I saw the first round and was like "it's over".
