Haha not only does he get brutally knocked out and destroyed by Mosley, he disgraces the sport and boxers in general in the process with his disgusting plaster scandal. He will likely never box a meaningful match again, unless Arum strong arms one of his guys to box him in Tijuana.

Paul Williams meanwhile has not even hit his prime, and is fighting Winky Wright, a better opponent than anybody Margarito has ever faced, at MW in a few weeks. So my question is, who will have the better legacy and resume when it is all said and done?? Feel free to actually give a legit reason.
OMG!!! is this even a Question..

I just asked him the same question. We seem to be on the same page a lot.

I created this poll because Margarito fans always said he would have a much better legacy than Paul and a better resume. I already explained that. If you cannot comprehend that then keep it moving.

Even if Marg was able to come back after a yr and somehow KO'd everybody in the WW top 10, his rep would never fully recover from the wrap scandal. Pwill has the potential to go a long way, but let's wait til he actually does it before we hype up his legacy. There's too much of fighters gettin mass cred for hypothetical victories around here.

cosign....hard to judge a fighter's legacy while he's still in his prime, and his best fights lay ahead.......for all we know, he could get completely schooled by winky and never recover mentally......

save the "legacy" discussions for fighters near/at the end of their careers, like roy jones/calzaghe/hopkins/etc.

Exactly, and the fact he hasn't even hit his prime yet and is attempting to do a Henry Armstrong.
