For some reason having loaded gloves is considered worse than using performance enhancers. I dont understand how they get a pass, cheating is cheating but thats just the way it is. Bull**** if you ask me.

I agree that cheating is cheating and Mosley should have faced some sort of punishment.

But can you really argue that steroids and plaster in your wraps is the same thing? Margarito's offense is SIGNIFICANTLY worse than Mosley's. Either way, Mosley should still have been punished, just not as severely as Margarito should be.

Not to give Mosley a pass or anything, what he did was wrong but I'd rather fight a guy with more stamina than me down the stretch because of performance enhancing drugs than a guy who throws a 100 punches a round with casts on his fists.

There isn't really any option in my mind. It is kinda sad but I don't think you can let him fight again. Boxing just cannot afford to put that kind of message out there I don't think.

IMO you are talking apples and oranges when trying to compare the two. They just are not in the same ballpark.

Those drugs don't just enhance your stamina, they enhance your speed, strength,stamina and agility.

Strength, maybe. Speed and agility are doubtful with Mosley because he's always been like that, and is still like that. And he's tested negative every time out before and after that fight.

Didn't Vargas/Toney get suspended for it though??? Its only fair that Mosley gets it too. I know its totally different than Margarito's case.

Vargas was suspended after the DLH fight. Toney got suspended after he got caught for it a second time after the Batchelder fight.

Wow, boxing should be a lot more strict with that stuff. I know to the general public, it isn't as bad because people from other sports use it, but those guys aren't punching each other lights out.
