As for the fight itself, I dont think it will be a steamrolling in any fighter's favor by far. it will be, what I call a "last minute" war, where not much will be happening in first two minutes of every round and the last minute being an absolute cracker. I also believe that the fight will be decided in the last two rounds.

It should be a great fight, ending in either a decision for Pavlik or a KO for Abraham.

"King Arthur" cannot win a decision in the US, so he'll need to knock him out.

Why not? But arthur couldn't probably win a decision anyway because of his lack of workrate.

          Good post and I agree. I'd give green K, but I can't.

Glad to see so many people backing AA in this one. Maybe it'll drive the odds down on Pavlik, and I'll get a decent price at my sports book.

Hit me up for some bets when this one gets finalized, folks. I'm backing Pavlik.

Exactly, only in germany can a guy win rounds for covering up and getting jabbed to the body, then scoring for punches that are partially blocked.

He wont get away with that in NY.

Ive said it all along, good fight for pavlik, its a very winnable fight, Lateral movers and fighters who can parry the jab and counter are the ones to give Kelly problems, thus why Hopkins was made for him. Abraham aint hopkins, he's a very poor mover and I cant see him creating angles to counter kelly off the jab.

I can see him standing still covering up whilst kelly goes for him with jab right hands. Because of Abraham's power, its a close call, but Kelly wins by decision for me. Maybe more, it wouldnt suprise me.

Weight drained or not, I don't see AA losing this fight.

i actually think that having a fight between now and then could benefit arthur abrham.

when david haye was signed to make the fight with enzo its because the likes of warren thought that haye would have a really really hard time making the weight and would leave him weakened. instead what david did is go from one training camp, into the fight with mormeck and then go straight into another training camp immediately afterwards.

if AA does the same thing and doesn't allow himself to gain any weight then he should be able to make the weight slightly easier than normal.

                    i see AA via KO/TKO.

Pavlik vs. Abraham on November 7 in New York's MSG?

We've heard of all this in the past, many times, but the promoters for Kelly Pavlik and Arthur Abraham are promising that both fighters will come together to unify their titles in the fall. Kelly Pavlik will defend his WBC/WBO middleweight titles against Sergio Mora on June 27 at the Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City, and Abraham will make a mandatory defense of his IBF title against Giovanni Lorenzo in the summer.
