I'll applaud him for stepping up, but Pavlik is going to be looking at his first KO loss if this fight happens.

Yeah, baby, this fight has an air of an old school feel, two hard punching guys with not much defense.

Really good news, I hope it happens. I guess Pavlik's team finally ran out of excuses.

I gotta LOL at people who think Abraham is gonna steamroll Pavlik.

Seriously folks, if AA can't look impressive against Ayala or Simon he is in for a rude awakening against Pavlik.

I want to see a HEALTHY AA against Pavlik prime for prime like it's supposed to be and such a late date doesn't seem to be able to afford that.
Because I know for a fact that a healthy AA will blast Pavlik out in like 4-5 rounds KTFO.
AA shouldn't have any excuses. He has been calling out Pavlik for some time. If he gets 7 months time to lose some weight to reach his dream fight and makes any excuse it will be a mistake. I still think AA knocks Pavlik out in the fight.

You are making a "wishful thinking" mistake of taking fighter's worst performances into an equation instead of his best one's, same thing that is done by Haye fans, and is only worthy of a noob.

He makes a point though. Abraham needs to throw a lot more against Pavlik to beat him. Abraham has a tendency of not throwing back and looking bad against not the best of opponents. Pavlik has a good chin too, so Abraham would need to throw more to win rounds. If he does, he wins the fight because Pavlik's defense is shakey.
