So the fact that people are giving Pac credit for the win soley because he was the underdog before the fight, and ignoring the fact that almost anyone could have beaten DLH that night is just pathetic.

Yes, Pac went up in weight a fair amount, but thats only gonna increase his strength as most of the weight gain was pure muscle. Its not gonna have anywhere near as dramatic effect as dropping down weight classes to a weight you haven't been at for 7 years, especially when you mess up the weight loss and dehydrate yourself.

So, basically the ODLH win is a useless indication of Pac's abilities and form at higher weight divisions. Same with the David Diaz fight. The true indication will come on May 2nd and it's not gonna be pretty for him.
dlh knows himself better than we do and he said he was ready.he has millions to pay the top nutritionist, conditioning people and top trainers with a lot of experiences but no body saw the weight drain problem comin, ridicoulous!i give you guys all the credit though since you know better!

There's more intelligence in one of jching's posts than in all of yours put together, with all your silly laughter icons and constant put-downs.

The fact is that if you are knocked down three times in the first round and still manage to get a draw, that does prove that you were at least 2 points better over rounds 2-12.

In addition, many boxing experts thought Marquez should have got the decision. You're entitled to disagree with them, but to resort to ridicule is just childish.

if you're clearly reading his posts earlier, he said "marquez was dominating paquiao". By the way, having laughter icons makes my comments not intelligent? who voted you as the all knowing guru? yeah many boxing experts except the judges. let me ask you dave, are you a moderator here? come on man pick a fighter and support your choice, it aint hard or are you afraid to be wrong when your fighter looses? your neutral bull**** is not funny you know, atleast i have the guts to pick and support my choice.

Did you even see the fight? Anyone with eyes could see that wasn't the same DLH as any of his previous fights. And why would he intentionally only put on 2lb between the weigh in and the fight, and come in lighter than Pacquiao, when he was expected to put around 15lb, and when his main advantage in the fight was supposed to be his size and weight? Obviously something went very wrong with the preparations, despite his millions.

And of course he said he was ready, before the fight - what did you expect him to say?

And don't forget that Valero said DLH's preparations were all wrong and that he would lose to Pac, based on his sparring sessions with him.

That's not an excuse for DLH. If he signed a contract to fight at a weight class he could no longer make without being weight drained, he has no one to blame but himself. If he screwed up his preparations despite having access to the best handlers in the world, he has no one to blame but himself. But the fact is that the version of DLH who fought Pac had deteriorated considerably compared to the version who fought Forbes - and even that version was a considerable decline over the version who fought Mayweather. You only need to have eyes to see that.

Hatton was in serious trouble in the 10th against Lazcano, and if it hadn't been for his shoe lace coming undone at a critical moment, and the referee giving him a 50 second break while his laces were tied back up, you can't be certain that he wouldn't have been stopped.

Having said that, he was wild against Lazcano, and hung his chin out to dry, which is why he sacked his trainer immediately after that fight and hired Floyd Snr. He won't be wild against Pacquiao.
so you agree that hatton woul've been koed if the ref did not save him!

Using them to ridicule people makes your posts appear that way.

The judges official scorecards are still their subjective opinions. Are you saying that there has never been a robbery in the history of boxing? People have a right to their opinion that the judges got it wrong, and if their opinion is shared by many boxing experts then while you have every right to disagree with them, based on your analysis of the fight, to ridicule them for expressing an opinion that many experts share just makes you look ridiculous, IMO. Personally, I thought a draw was a fair result, BTW. I just don't think you can say that anyone who thinks the judges got it wrong is being ridiculous.

Now you're trying to ridicule me as well. Childish question.

I'm a fan of both fighters. I think Pac will win by UD, and I've said so often.

The idea that preferring facts and proper analysis to prejudice and ridicule is "neutral bull****" is just silly. It doesn't take any guts to be biased, and you can support someone without being biased. I support Celtic football club, but I know that they will never win any major international trophies again.

No, I think he probably would not have been, but no one can say for certain.

Its gonna be a great fight!! I got Hatton by KO. I he doesnt get the KO hes not beating Pacquaio. IMO Hatton cant outbox Pacquaio for 12 rounds. But he has power so he can KO Pacquaio, cant wait to see this!!
