    He has a point imo
Calzaghe, Jones and Hopkins we're all established champions (either at the time of the fight or before). There's this thing in economics called demand and supply. The fans wanted it a lot, so the TV stations supplied it. There's only 1 established champion in Frochs fight, and its the challenger, if that makes sense! He needs to wise up.
Fair play to him for trying to get as much money as possible, but to get paid the same as Calzaghe v Hops or Jones, come on now!
He needs to improve his stock. If he has a few high profile fights then maybe, now, catch yourself on!

Hmm.. My guess is this will end up on Setanta. Froch is a idiot, though... he should negotiate on the merits of his own case, not what Calzaghe happened to get paid. You can see it from Setanta's point of view, even if the anticipated audience was the same, the economic climate is much harsher, and their advertising revenue will have gone down. And if Froch wants amount $'X' for this fight he will want $'X+' for the next one should he beat Taylor.

Carl, you ain't Calzaghe... not yet, anyway. Be realistic, mate, and let your fans see the fight.

          lol..is Froch Polish?

That said, speaking from an Englishman from Irish parents. I love the Polish, anything else would be horribly hypocritical.

He is as polish as a fucking polka dance.

It's either him being a pole, or being an *******, dont know which one to put, since I dont care so much about him.

One of his grand parents were from Poland. Froch is English.

In other words, win this fight and then we can talk. It's a risk the networks are taking because Froch's asking price will definitely increase should he pull off the upset. But it also shows how they feel about his chances. I don't doubt, however, someone jumping on board at the last minute and televising it.

                    OH behave.!!!

                    LMFAO

Nobody wanted to see Hopkins v Calzaghe.

As for RJJ v Calzaghe, it was a PPV flop. They 'expected' to bring in the dumb boxing fans, but even they were not so dumb to forget Roy Jones's career ended 4 years before they faced.
If i remember correctly, people wanted to see Joe face Pavlik.
