I do try on occasions, but I'll thank you to not tell me how to do research again. Amir Khan was not selling PPVs fifteen fights into his career. Your point stands however that he is more marketable, although I think you do a disservice to Dirrell by calling him a small, unknown fighter. I heard he was an extremely talented fighter over a year ago. I really can't be bothered right now to do the calculations to compare the resumes of Ward or the younger Dirrell to Khan, but a quick look seems to support my claim, although not to the extent that Anthony Dirrell seemingly did.
Why is Anthony Dirrell (15-0) fighting an age 40 opponent with a 2-16 record?

Good point, but he came back against a 6-1 guy, so he could do a bit better than an opponent with a losing record.
I don't know much about his training, but I wouldn't be surprised if Dirrell had a harder workout from his sparring partners than he'll get from this guy.Comment

Wasn't his cancer just a rumor that was later proven false? During the time Dirrell was supposed to be on chemotherapy, he was arrested for armed robbery.Comment

Because he's a massive underachiever.I just saw this on BoxRec. His name is Dominque Azeez.

Do matchups like this help the sport of boxing?
And how about Andre Dirrell, in a non-competitive televised matchup against Derek Findley? Somewhat better, but still a mismatch.Comment

You are lying as usual, Bhopreign.
The Klitschkos have never fought anyone who's age 40, has a 2-16 record and been KOed 10 times. They did fight some poor opponents in their first five fights.
Their worst opponent ever was probably Vitali's Mike Acklie (11-13-1, age 35) in his 4th fight. TheManchine has posted a YouTube video of it many times, in order to discredit Vitali, and to deceitfully give people the impression that Acklie was a typical Vitali opponent.Comment

When I say bums I mean the at this stage the Byrds, Brewsters, Gomez and the rest of the guys theyve fought the last 6-7 fights shouldnt even be in the ring with them, they are washed up.You are lying as usual, Bhopreign.

[QUOTE=P4P Opinion;4981146]I still remember all the bull**** some American fans here were talking about Amir Khan only fighting tomato cans while developing. Dirrell is supposed to be a top prospect, but let's compare his resume with that of Khan's at the same point in their career:
Anthony Dirrell
Jose Medina: 14-12-0
Robert Kliewer: 9-6-2
Andy Mavros: 6-1-0
James Hopkins: 3-6-0
James North: 8-14-2
Billy Thompson: 8-5-0
James Morrow: 9-2-2
Juan Carlos Ramos: 4-4-1
Chris Grays: 6-8-0
Kevin Butts: 8-6-1
Gabriel Rivera: 4-0-0
Mike Walthier: 0-2-0
Larry Brothers: 5-13-2
Dewayne Warren: 0-0-0
Henry Dukes: 0-4-0
Collective Record of Fighters Fought: 84-83-10 [QUOTE]
