he fought on par with him for all but 1 round although he was handicapped. he didn't get his ass served, he just proved that he can endure punch exchanges against a guy whose hand are filled with plaster.

props to him and any other fighter (williams, clottey, cintron, etc) who fought against that bastard. he should never get a big pay day form any fighter, including cotto. that's the worst punishment cotto or anyone could give him

cotto has never been that swollen after a fight is true but not because margarito SUPPOSEDLY had loaded gloves, but because he got hit way too many more times than any other fight. And do you think that 2 small pieces that they took out will make that much of a difference!?!?!?

I think that Cotto has all the right to talk on the topic. I also think Cotto is saying this also to get out of top rank. Everyone here knows margarito is not going to get banned for life and Cotto will fight him next year. Cotto is right on everything he is saying but he also wants out in Top Rank. He wants to go in his own and this is his chance to get in bad terms with top rank. Cotto will get his rematch and he will beat this ****ing cheater.
