Who thinks Calzaghe is underrated on this site?

Given less respect than deserved? Of course, people hate on him, and in turn others give him wayyy too much respect. I think he'd smoke Taylor, Pav, Johnson, and any other non Dawson Light Heavyweight even as faded as he is. His slaps bother me a little, but they also tired out Hopkins (which I've never seen, despite what other factors were in play), and beat every fighter he has ever come across. The man has my respect.

I think he's a great fighter, and even out of his prime would still destroy most ppl anywhere from 168-175, although I do feel he's less great than the likes of Jones and Hopkins.

Jones and Hopkins make him look foolish in their prime - I'll give him credit for a great career abroad and none for a last second showcase against aged legends. That's all I have to say about that.

He's a very good fighter that i just cant consider great because just about all his wins came against mediocre opponents or against fighters past their primes. His only "great" win IMO is Kessler. Every other win was unimpressive because of who he was facing or even questionable against Hopkins. i had hopkins winning that fight.

He definitely deserve more respect but it doesnt help when you have people on here who are only here to nuthug him, that creates alot of hate and heat directed at him...

I like Calzaghe, he wins every fight in convincing fashion and the haters hate him because he is unorthodox and looks like he slaps.

Let him start slapping the haters and see how weak his punches are..or maybe it would be the fact that he would out-throw, out-class, and out-last the haters....easily
