Either way, I could honestly say as a MEXICAN, that this peice of **** (MARG) is a disgrace! And I could also say that, knowing how that fight ended and what we know now, that fight was the biggest fight of Margarito's career. If he was gonna cheat.... Cotto was the one to cheat with, that was the fight that was gonna put him on top of the WW division. Somehow even though it can't be proven, unless capetillo comes clean to not get banned, I could almost understand how it was that I was wrong in picking Cotto. Sounds kinda arrogant, but I freakin KNEW that there was NO WAY IN HELL Cotto could get beat like that by Marg.

I agree. I really hope he didn't ruin Cotto's career. The beating he took that night was unreal. Ban this clown and his trainer from the sport for life. Margarito is an utter disgrace to the sport.

Why would he cheat for a guy Cotto beat, but not for Cotto? Not to mention there is some proof such as in the corner saying "Your punches should be solid punches by now"

We cant assume that he cheated Cotto. Its the United States law: Innocent until proven guilty.

We cant say he is guilty of cheating Cotto because we have no proof. Plus, Cotto took a knee and decided not to continue. Plaster would have made him get KTFO. There is a difference. I believe Cotto was just exauhsted and hurt, thus he didn't want to continue. The guy didn't even try to block in the later rounds, he just took shots.

I'm saying he had a mental advantage because both Cotto and Cintron couldn't hurt him. Cotto hit him with everything round after round, couldn't even wobble him and yet Tony was still in his chest working him. Same with Cintron.

And I understanded that. But Look at Margos face after 6 rounds vs Cotto and the watch the Mosley fight after 6 rounds.

Look at Margs facial expersion, in the Cotto fight he look happy even tho he was getting whoop to a pulp knowing he had the advantage, and in the Mosley fight after 6 rounds, helooked like he wanted to cry!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Lets just say 2 men are taking turns hitting each other(same ethnic background), automatic ADVANTAGE goes to the one that previously cheated and knows how to. AUTOMATIC advantage to the one with loaded gloves....doesn't really matter what the other guy brings to the table he is at a disadvantage. Only a super chin helps.

This is some BS, Margarito deserves the punishment, but with plaster or not Cotto coulnt put him down like Sugar did, so I don't know about the loss..

if you get your nose and mouth broken right when a fight starts with a SINGLE punch, you're gonna get screwed mentally. look at cotto after that, he was retreating every single time that he threw a punch

only those poor guys know how does it feel to get hit with plaster... but i'm pretty sure that it makes a HUGE difference

Errr, Billy Colins Junior lasted the whole fight against Resto buddy!!!!!!!!!!!

even tho innocent untill proven gulty is true, but that only works for a court room.


Any person with half a brain and common sense, will quickly determine that Margarrito did it against Cotto!!!!!!!!!

I understand, but the problem is there's no evidence in this man. We can only assume and time will tell if Marg used it against Cotto either by a rematch or how Margarito comes back...

The fact is no one can prove anything. But I see things my way, If we are beating each others ass, and we are both doing damage, AND YOU have loaded gloves, the beating I took was not an acurate account for what I really should have felt. Cotto could not stick to his game plan because he was getting that little bit extra hurt from Margs punches and it accumilated fast. That is IF Margs gloves were indeed loaded.

I know what you guys are saying about innocent until proven guilty, but I can't help feel for Cotto, especially with that fight being their biggest fight ever. It is a BIG UGLY STAIN on the sport.
