Regardless, I think it's outrageous and a ridicule of this sport, to say we recently had a case of a boxer nearly going into a ring with plaster hardened hands, he was caught, banned for only a year, but is fighting as normal in a few months.

Absolutely outrageous. Shame on Margarito, his trainer, Arum and anyone whom supports him fighting.

I agree, but do you think he used them against Paul Williams, but Williams started well and then Margarito got back into the fight. Also in round 2, Margarito did some damage to Cotto. I had Cotto winning, but I wonder if more then just plaster took its toll

surprise? oh yeah with the exception of Capetillo the entire team is indeed one of the nicer teams to deal with so yes when you have been around a bunch of guys you believe have integrity and this happens a shock is an understatement

um to be honest bro I don't even know what to say other than I feel sorry for my sport that this had to have happened. It's the sport, not Tony, that is now going to suffer because of all those against it who will point to this as a reason as to why boxing is bad.

I hope CSAC does what is right and bans them for life

I'm saying he had a mental advantage because both Cotto and Cintron couldn't hurt him. Cotto hit him with everything round after round, couldn't even wobble him and yet Tony was still in his chest working him. Same with Cintron.

Problem is the Nevada commission never made an investigation into this..so we will never know if Cotto was hit with some blocks..It's like accusing someone of having sex with a ********** but you have no evidence.

The only person who knows is Margarito and if he did use them against Cotto then only time will tell..

Either way, I could honestly say as a MEXICAN, that this peice of **** (MARG) is a disgrace! And I could also say that, knowing how that fight ended and what we know now, that fight was the biggest fight of Margarito's career. If he was gonna cheat.... Cotto was the one to cheat with, that was the fight that was gonna put him on top of the WW division. Somehow even though it can't be proven, unless capetillo comes clean to not get banned, I could almost understand how it was that I was wrong in picking Cotto. Sounds kinda arrogant, but I freakin KNEW that there was NO WAY IN HELL Cotto could get beat like that by Marg.
