And he could hardly have avenged the Quintana defeat more emphatically - to hold that against him now is like saying that Lewis isn't as good as Rahman or McCall because he lost his first fights with them.

If Williams beats Winky, who beat Mosley twice, then you can't say that he doesn't deserve a shot against Mosley.

but you know how things work in boxing. you earn fights by having money and draw pwer, things that PW doesn't have yet. he's still a young kid, give him time and he'll earn those shots, but as of now, mosley won't and shouldn't fight him

I dont get it, Maybe its because of his age.....But hasnt Mosley had alot of big money fights??? oscar twice was big money..Vargas twice was for big money...Winky twice was for big money..even the forrest fight was for big money...So whats all this talk about mosley deserve big money fights???

at this pont in Mosley's career i can respect that! He took on every challenge in his career and at this point with the divorce and being near the end of his career well it would be ****** to bash him for being more interested in big money fights!

He is out of his mind if he fights Williams. Sure Shane may not get the Hatton or Pac, or Floyd or Cotto fight THIS year, but if he can get a fight against a Berto or Clottey (and win) then he can set himself up for one in the future. If he fights Williams and loses (which someone already pointed out that a guy built like Williams should spell trouble) then those big name fights are totally off the table. If I were him, I would fight Berto and see where everything stands after that.
