I love how people love to hate. Soto is not vry good against southpaws. Valero is a good solid fighter with decent skills and silly power. His traight lft hand is a radar. he i vey accurate with it. AAfter the Pitalua fight youll see how good Valero is. I know he have fought only half ass decent comp. But he is very good. hell be the lightWeight king, now that JMM is moving up. The only guy who can really trouble valero, is guzman, because valero havent seen a good boxer puncher with Guzman movemnet yet. Soto likes to mixit up, and Valero will put the hurt on him!!!!!!!!

champ, you my dawg but i gotta disagree with your rear-view opinion of Soto

i think that Soto is highly UNDERrated...he's a fundamentally sound, workmanlike fighter that brings it...

he would be the most elite fighter that Valero has faced...Soto is twice the fighter that Mosquerra (who worked and dropped Valero) was...

I totally agree with the bold. But from what i see Valero will develop into a really good boxer puncher. he havent shine, because , you know, when you fight stiff you dont display your full abilities.

About Soto I maybe understimating him, but i do think that Valero will develop into a way better fighter!!!!!!!!!!!!

If you really think that, you'd pony up the points like El Dominicano asked you to.

            Soto will win.

Valero should enter the elite scene after his next fight. I don't think he has shown anything to suggest he could beat a guy like Soto. He sings his arms wildly and aggresive, totally the wrong tactic against a strong technical fighter like Soto.

I'd say a Soto TKO around the 8th.

It's a toss coin I think. Whoever delivers the moneypunch first wins this fight. I know valero has been knocked down by mosquera but he was able to get back at his game and beat mosquera via TKO in the 10th. To those who are thinking that valero is all power and has no boxing skills, you are badly mistaken. You may ask eric morales about valero's skills and he would tell you that he's better than pacman, skillwise.
