Edwin Valero vs. Humberto Soto is a Possibility

If everything falls into place, we could see a possible fall bout between unbeaten lightweight puncher Edwin Valero and WBC super featherweight champion Humberto Soto. Valero fights on April 4 against Antonio Pitalua for the vacant WBC lightweight title in San Antonio, Texas. Soto returns on Saturday in Tijuana, Mexico against Antonio Davis. Both fighters are promoted by Top Rank. [details]

      Crazy...

He's a technically solid boxer puncher.

What a great fight this is to make. I'm hoping for it!

Soto is definitely big enough to be an effective lightweight.

I think Soto has the tools to beat Valero, would be an interesting fight.
