Bernard threw him a crackhead offer ........Kat Duva did the right thing!......Adamek needs to fight Cunningham next after Steve dusts off the "Big Train".......B-Hop should throw a retirement party in Raymond Rosen projects in North Philly.........there's NOTHING more to prove.

Hopkins has nothing left to prove. The only reason he wants to fight Adamek is because he thinks he can outclass him and out slick him,,not because its such this great challenge he betrays it to be.If he truly wants a challenge, he needs to fight Chad Dawson. He wants to move up to cruiserweight and hasn't even beat the top dog at light heavyweight.I respect him anyway for all his achievements in the ring. But unless you are going to fight the best, get out the sport.

Hopkins schooled the top dog at 175 when he came up, in Tarver.

He then defended against Calzaghe, who is a much bigger threat than Chad Dawson.

Chad needs to rematch Johnson before even thinking of messing with B-Hop.

I'm still laughing at people comparing Dawson to Pavlik.
                  Really.

"He doesn't want to destroy another fighter."

                  GTFO.

All the talk was about B-Hop moving up. Not staying put. Dawson is the reason these old cats are retiring.
                  Get used to it.
                  Dawson is the future.

There will be a Ring champion at 175 that hails from the U.S.

I can agree with that : That Dawson is the future of 175.

But I can't agree with him being the reason other guys are reiting, the other guys are old as hell man, they've earned retirement.

And Hopkins has been interested in winning another title in another weight class long before Dawson became a figurehead at 175.

Remember all that talk about fighting Maskaev back when he was a HW titleholder?

Some guys act as if Hopkins is moving up to avoid Dawson : And maybe he is.

But I wouldn't throw such accusations at an ATG like Hopkins, who has never been one to avoid an opponet.

Especially not when he's been toying with the idea of 3 division Champion since late '05 or early '06.
