Adamek can get a bunch of fights in europe that will pay just as well, but with much less risk.

Hopkins is crazy if he thinks he should get more than Adamek, a guy who really does sell seats.

Hopkins v RJJ 2, both retire afterwards.

That is of course if RJJ stops ducking him

when i first heard about this fight i figured hopkins was just talking out loud humoring himself.
he'd be nuts to fight his retirement fight against adamek.

the offer to adameks people proove it.

Sounds like Hopkins was using this whole thing as a publicity stunt, like years ago when he said he would go to Germany to fight Michalczewski. That offer was beyond insulting to a world champion who has been a good draw.

                That's a horrible offer.

You can't make that kind of offer to a recognized world champ and #1 guy in the division. Even so, a 60-40 Adamek split is crazy as well. He'd be better off taking 50-50 or 55-45. I never seriously thought this fight would get put together. Hopkins should just retire already. I'd much rather see Adamek fight Cunningham again.

But why do it when you really have no one else to face other then Chad Dawson?

I'd like to see a unification with G. Jones, or a fight with Ramirez or Afolabi next.

Then perhaps a rematch with Cunningham in the fall.

I really like the Guerillmo Jones Adamek fight.

It would be hard for me to decide which guy to root for because I like them both and they are both good pros with above average power and never quit.
