Floyd Sr. : Says "Speed is Nothing but Timing"

It`s common sense if you examine it closely. Timing is like hitting a moving target. If you are slow, you can still hit at moving target with a margin of error. If your projectile or punch is fast, or with much speed, you need less margin of error, or less timing. Because you will more or less hit the moving target where you locked it.
In fact, more speed needs less timing, and slower needs more timing.
Therefore, speed has nothing to do with timing. Get it?Comment

Hatton doesn't just drink beer between fights. He eats a bunch of fried food and junk food also. He mentioned it in one show before the PBF fight. You don't gain 40 lbs in a couple months just from drinking beer. Also, its not the fact that he drinks so much and doesn't take care of himself between fights. When bodyweight fluctuates that much in a short time (40 lb gain and loss in a matter of a few months many times a year for Hatton) the body starts to get damaged. It doesn't matter how well you take the weight off. When your bodyweight changes so much constantly it takes a large toll on the whole body. A good example is Tom Hanks. He was a lean 140 lber in his young days but took up roles where he had to gain 40-50 lbs for a movie role. There was a comparison of him now and in his youth and in just matter of a few years he turned into a slob. Case in point, the body ages faster when you live like Hatton.Comment
