Pavlik Pumped For Possible Abraham Clash in The Fall

I agree that it's a weird situation, both guys seem to want each other but their promoters kept on screwing it up, mostly Arum's doing.

But the bottom line is that it will happen this year. Finally, we'll all know who the king of 160 really is. And I'm pretty excited about that.

As for Forrest and Mora, yeah, they're **** fights. But if Kelly and Arthur do what they should do to those guys, and win by KO, it will make for one hell of a build up to the fight this Fall.

But pavlik anounce that he ws fighting Moa, so Abraham, had to look for a opponent because neither Pavlik nor Sturm wanted to fight him at the opponent or atleast their promoters didnt want the fight!!!!!!!

You seem to have made the assumption the fight didnt happen strictly because Arum and/or Kelly are afraid of the fight, I on that I dont agree with you at all. You also seem to assume the only reason this fight isnt happening sooner is because of Kelly's end of things, like Abraham and his management had nothing to do with it.
Ultimately, the fight didnt happen because the money probably wasnt right for a fight of this magnitude. Now they both have gimme fights, and are saving it for a little later down the road, where I assume now the money is right.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't the Abraham negotiations fall though not too long ago? Leaving the Pavlik camp to turn to sign to fight Mora?

I've seen nothing about that - do you have a link? I saw Arum claim six weeks ago that Pavlik would fight Duddy rather than Abraham because fighting Abraham "isn't lucrative enough". Then shortly after that Sauerland said:

"We’ve been after this fight for a long time and there definitely hasn’t been any offer to come to Germany. We put an offer to Top Rank [Pavlik’s promoters] and they seem to be hesitant, but I think in the past 48 hours we’re starting to make roads forward."

Then the Pavlik-Mora fight was announced.

Then the Abraham-Forrest fight was announced.

Then in the last day or so, Pavlik started saying he wants to fight Abraham. Which is great, and props to him for that, but I haven't seen any interest expressed by Pavlik or Arum until the last day or so.

People **** on Kelly because for a while there it looked like Arum wasn't going to let him fight Abraham.

I'm not saying that he deserves to be hated on, just pointing out that a lot of it would go away if the AA fight happens.

Most people don't care about the behind the scenes stuff, they just want to see the fights.

As do I my good man. Just don't want to see either fighter degraded as if he holds 100% control on the situation. The business end of this game rears it's head too often now-a-days. Making weight is NOT an excuse to push a fight either IMO. Let's get this fight made people!
