Many fans are questioning the choice of Pavlik's opponents and I just have one question. Who the hell is Lajuan Simon? He was not even rated in the top ten by the IBF, much less by anyone else, and yet Arthur thought he was worthy enough to fight for the belt?

i love kelly and he's tough but there are some good super middles, i dont know their availability but there must be something more competitive than mora, i mean i would take cotto over mora, forrest easily 12 round deciosioned him, that fight is an embrassement for boxing, wont be nearly as bad as the show calzaghe and jones put on though, and you had to pay for that. abraham vs pavlik should be a really good tilt.

This was probably an agreement between Arum and AA's promoter.

If AA fights Vernon Forrest here, than that's VALUABLE American exposure, hence the whole point. Than not only are they both coming off decent wins over solid professionals(term used loosely in regards to Mora), but Abraham is coming off of a fight in the States which was Arum's concern all along.

I'd like to see this fight. I think Pavlik would beat him by late TKO or UD.

            Damnit, give Kelly a break!

The kid fights Edison Miranda, Jermain Taylor TWICE, and people give him **** about taking on a guy like Lockett, who was a MANDATORY for the titles he just won. ****in a dude.

And then he takes on B-Hop, get handled by such a veteran, and people want to hate on him for taking two fights to get some good rounds under his belt before he takes up another big challenge in Abraham. Kelly's a champ in every sense of the word, he's not afraid of anyone, but he's due to have a fight or two to gather himself, if I do say so myself.

Some fans don't understand the fact that professional boxers have to take cool down fights scattered in with big fights. There's no current fighter taking on 5 or more hard fights consecutively. Haters tend to forget this. No one's doing it.

People **** on Kelly because for a while there it looked like Arum wasn't going to let him fight Abraham.

Now it's confirmed, and people still find a way to **** on him.

Kelly can't win for ****, can he?

You just got let the haters do them, I give up on responding to them. I agree it was the stubborn old man (Arum) avoiding the fight, but I'm glad to see he's giving in.

Plus, even though Sergio Mora is a JMW, he's still got a decent skill set and could be a nice fight for Kelly to take in order to feel comfortable against different styles.

Pavlik should cancel the Mora fight, AA should cancel any talks about the Forrest fight, and they should both go at it in July. **** the belts, if the organizing committees make them vacate, so be it. The fans wanna see this fight, we could care less who has a belt. Belts don't mean **** in today's boxing anyway.
