Supposedly he beat him in the Amateurs. Well Calzaghe beat Chris Byrd in the Ams, I guess that means he beats the prime HW version .

Keep hoping and see if that helps you. Arreola hasn't fought nearly the class of heavyweights that VK has already beaten. Who did Arreola ever fight that could even be competitive with Gomez or Peter?

oh okay. well Oleg turned pro in the early 90's right? cause I remember Oliver Mc KO'd his ass back then. so he fought Vitali when Vitali was what? 20? you know there was this group of HW's back then who were hopefuls and tbh, I'd have thought Obed Sullivan or derrick jefferson would have faired better than Oleg. props to Oleg. and no one wants to see him take an ass whipping by the guy(Vitali) that we REALLY want to see take an ass-whippin

Not really man I don't know very many fans that don't like Vitali

I see no reason for Oleg to get another title shot without beating a top 10 guy first. If anything, he should be a gatekeeper, a guy that some of these prospects like Arreola should be fighting before getting a shot themselves. I'm kinda sick of these old has beens continuing to get title shots without first knocking some of these young, green kids out of contention.

Arreola is a better counterpuncher with more speed than Vitali.

                Arreola by KO
Gomez has alot of experiance. His movement, balance and the fact that he was a southpaw through Vitali off. So it made him look extra awkword. Gomez has that extensive Cuban Ametuer Background. All the Cubans are great at keeping other fighters off balance. It's hard to tell when you're watching it but there is lots of little things you can do inn the ring to make the other fighter look clumsy. Gomez is a master at that ****.

well he didn't make vita look clumsy.
and what i hated was gomez being a sloucher and giving up trying to win right off the bat and just fighting to survive.
he's the type of cuban who went soft after escaping castro.

He looked very clumsy at the begining and even near the end so watchya talkin bout? I like Vitali my whole point of me typing that was to explain why Vitali looked sluggish and more clumsy than usual.

Hopefully this goes down... IF Arreola can get by McCline. I think he does but I think McCline is live. I originally didn't think Arreola could beat Vitali, (and I still don't think he beat can Vladamir) but if the Vitali that faught Gomez shows up I think he may knock him out. That could be a really good Heavy weight fight... Looking foward to Peter vs Chambers this friday. Props to ESPN for that and the Vitali fight.
