Vitali Klitschko Targets Chris Arreola For LA Showdown

WBC heavyweight champion Vitali Klitschko wants to fight undefeated Chris Arreola. While waiting for WBA champ Nikolai Valuev to meet his rematch obligation to Ruslan Chagaev, Klitschko wants to face Arreola and is willing to stage the fight in Los Angeles, California - Arreola's backyard. Arreola fights veteran Jameel McCline on April 11 in Las Vegas. [details]

I hope he wins his courtroom battle with the WBC at CAS so he wont have to defend against the totally and utterly shot Maskaev.

Arreola is a very good opponent until a unification fight with Valuev/Chagaev is set up.

This fight would be huge in L.A. Vitali is right no one wants to see him fight Maskaev.

        Make it happen!

a big thumbs up to Vitali for not wasting his time with Maskaev, and going after a fun to watch fighter like Arreola.

I really, REALLY hope this fight happens. Haye vs Wladimir and Arreola vs. Vitali are the first real interesting heavyweight matchups weve seen in a long time.

hope Povetkin and Dimitrenko can get in the mix soon.

Its funny cause just the other day some of the crazed Klit haters were bitching and moaning that Vitali was afraid of Arreola and had no business calling out Valuev (who has a belt).

These people were picking Arreola by knockout but after Vitali dominates him, swipes the score cards and TKO's him like every other Vitali fight they wont give him credit and it will be "Arreola was garbage anyways, Vitali needs to fight ....."

arreola doesn't fight like a fatman, his workrate is pretty high.

Goodbye Arreola. With no movement and no height or reach, he is a sitting duck and he won't make it past round 5.
