The safest bet for ROy is beat a top ten contender at LHW and aim for Dawson, because Dawson is less likely to KO roy. Jermain or Froch could really hurt Roy.
You need to bottle and sell whatever it is you are on. You would make a killing.

Out of those three, Dawson is the one with the best chance to beat Roy.

You can't honestly think that it's a good idea that Roy continue fighting do you?

        Roy Beats Bernard

Bernard beats Johnson and tarver who both beat Roy

If Roy beats Jermain who beat Bernard twice..

THEN THEY HAVE TO GET IT ON!
        Ding, Ding, Ding!!!!

I was going to wait until somebody made the connection before I said something. I'm so glad it was one of Roy's biggest fans.

This fight would be a set up for Hopkins-Jones II. And, to be honest. Styles make fights and I think Old Jones STILL has the style to beat B-hop.

Hopkins does have a workrate that Jones can deal with and not really enough power to get a Glenn Johnson style punch around the gloves that can hurt Roy. It could be a good match with Roy winning a decision. That's the way I invision it. I still want Jones to face and beat Glenn Johnson though. I want some get-back on that fight still.

What he's gonna find is more lopsided loses if he continues to fight.

i think roy should fight glen johnson another floridean. johnson knocked him out so it would be nice if roy can try to avenge that loss. atleast he will get some respect back if he takes the fight.just like i wouild like to see a jmm rematch with juan diaz. i respect fighters more they go after their defeats.

Whats the problem? Just because he doesnt fight like he did when he was prime?

              WHo does?................... who does?

Roy still has ability... its all about mentality... if his mind can be right, he can fight... on saturday... the opponent wasnt great.. but for the first time in years his mind was right in the ring...

Hes a grown ass man, if he thinks he can still reach a belt.. then i will support him

I don't want to see Roy in there against Jermain, Roy loses that fight.

I think we need to put this **** in perspective, that was an out of shape and inactive Sheika the other night. Roy is not back, and he is not coming back.Taylor is too young and too active for Roy.

If he was showing a slight decrease in ability, then I wouldn't have a problem with him continuing. But, the guy is a shell of his former self. All he's doing is just putting his long term health at risk and most importantly getting in the way of other fights that should happen. Nobody outside of Jones fans wanna see him get taken apart by Jermain. He had a great career, time to pack it up and let some younger who are in their prime go at it. Or he can continue off the radar against guys like Sheika in meaningless fights.
