Lewis better count his lucky stars the ref stopped that fight. He would've had to win 5 of the next 6 rounds, or stop him, neither of which was happening. And that was one loss he would never have been able to avenge. As it was, he knew he had no chance in a rematch, which is why he retired rather than collect a career payday.

Lenox got his spirit broken in that fight.

That is why he did not give a rematch (hiding under his MOM's lap).
That is why he predicted easy wins for next three Vitali's opponents (and all of them lost) and did not get the way to acquit his coward decision.

And prime Vitali would've had not less then 50% chance to win a fight with prime Lenox and he'd win coz his heart is much biger and he always comes back no metter what.

Vitali beat up Lewis and scared him into retirement.

I lost a lot of respect for Lewis when he retired like a coward.

yeah, i thought ll just pulled a scared move not to finish the fight. im sure he had a rematch clause, maybe just lucky vitali didnt have one.

i would say vk would beat ll in a rematch. i would bet on that actually. i read these things. ll is lucky to have gotten throught that fight to be honest.

wel, he did target that cut afterwards - so in a sense u are right.

also, it is good to note that, one of those cuts were caused by his young son playing catch with a plastic airplane against him. so one of thse cuts, whch was covered 4 days before the fight, were caused from the edge of a toy.

bad break for vitali. bit, still lucky of lennox to win.

however, i am not the kind who thinks vitali would beat up LL so easily - although it looked like he was.

this would have been the rematch of the decade at least.

so, one wonders why LL didnt have enough for one fight even though he was planning to fight 2 times more at least
