        It happened.

Vitali was whooping ass, got ox=clawed, then got robbed.

An old Lewis beat Vitali in his prime, and even though Klitschko was winning on points people forget that the momentum was in Lewis favor before they stopped the fight.

Lennox in his prime was just a more fluent boxer than Vitali and a harder puncher. He would win on points or possibly a late stoppage from a cut. It would be tough though.

              i agree.

lewis did not definitively prove to be the better fighter. even i would not call that a pure win had i been lewis.

it sounds more like a guy who was lucky yet claims skills for victory.

vitali is older than lewis who he fought, yet, it doesnt slow VK down. so why can an injury ridden VK beat down just a regular class heavy while lewis couldnt?

because lewis couldnt handle a lively fight again with vitali. he was genuinely hurt from vitali. and i doubt vitali was even aware of how serious his cuts were - us fighters know u dont feel cuts until well after a fight.

i dont need to argue, i know what i know. it is not fanbasing or guesswork either.

btw, it was a very b*tchy move of lewis to keep us waiting a year to know what he was going to do.

he claimed he wanted to fight tyson again, and others. yet after fighting VK, he retired? nothing weird there?

i just wish these kids would see clarity in this bull....

What's funny is the Lewis that fought Vitali gets older every year. They talk about him being 40 now, in 10 years it'll be almost 50. The truth is, like you say, he was within 2 mo of Vitali's age now. And he sure as hell didn't have any 4 year layoffs.

Funny how Lewis has turned into an exciting and unbeatable fighter, when the reality is he made his name off of way past prime versions of Tyson and Holyfield. Pretty good resume, but then he lost twice to weak HWs at best, while in his prime. So the outcome of this fight would depend on which Lewis shows up, how motivated he is, and whether he's able to inflict a lucky cut like in the first fight.
