Moving up to light-heavyweight and unifying basically every title in the division.... would AT LEASTTTT, be a challenge? NO?

MOVING BACK DOWN 2 weight classes, to LHW, to fight the NEW #1 LHW in Tarver... would AT LEAST be a LITTLE bit of a challenge? NO

      eh, maybe not...
Hopkins was green, most people realise this, maybe not Roy fans.

The Hopkins Roy fought was certainly not as good as even the 44 year old version we see today.

Of course the Toney fight was a risk, one of the few Roy actually took.

He picked up Michalczewski's stripped titles at LHW.

Who did he win these belts against? a 40 year old Mike McCallum fighting 21 pounds above his best division?

      Lou Del Valle?

      An old Reggie Johnson?

All the while not fighting the best fighter in the division and the linear champion.

John Ruiz at heavyweight for a trinket belt? John Ruiz is trash. Complete **** and that fight was a joke.

      Fat Toney humiliated Ruiz.

Roy wasted far too many HBO dates.

its easy to discredit ANY fighters resume, when you look at it from such a negative perspective
