Something I respect from Roy Jones JR.

He is never demanding ****, he always pays his dues, before comming back.
He have gave rematches to or fought the necesary rematches.

He always works his way up, like after getting beated by Tarver x2 and Johnson, he fought Ajamu, Hanshaw and took on a difficult fight with Trinidad wich he made it look easy.

And he is doing it again, he KO a tough guy in Shieka, and if he beats 1 or 2 more decents fighters, I wont mind seeing him in another big fight. Lets say against Dawson or Erdei!!!!!!!!!

RJJ is a true fighter, and knows what needs to be done.

He made me a huge fan of his!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    War RJJ!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Roy spent his prime years fighting nobodies and wasting HBO dates.

I would prefer to see fighters challenge themselves rather than sit around beating fighters that should never have been in the ring with them in the first place.

Certainly fighting Bernard Hopkins for the MW title would at least be... a challenge? no?

Certainly moving up in weight to fight an undefeated 44-0 pound for pound champion in James Toney... would AT LEAST be... a challenge? no?

Moving up to light-heavyweight and unifying basically every title in the division.... would AT LEASTTTT, be a challenge? NO?

MOVING UP IN WEIGHT AGAIN... coming from MW... to fight a HW titelist who out weighed him by 35 pounds... would AT LEAST... be a LITTLE BIT of a challenge? NO?

MOVING BACK DOWN 2 weight classes, to LHW, to fight the NEW #1 LHW in Tarver... would AT LEAST be a LITTLE bit of a challenge? NO

          eh, maybe not...

                You are better than this.

Roy may have fought some below-average competition but he also took on and defeated all the top 175 contenders of his era. Guys like Hill, Griffin, Johnson, Telesco, Harding, Harmon, Woods - these guys were the top contenders in the division. Roy fought and beat them all.
