Vitali has always struggled with a quick pace, vander used to bring it like no other fighter in his pomp, I can see the size advantages being an issue but having to throw straight right hand leads would tire Klitschko out, Lewis kept Holy at bay with his jab, a jab far superior to Vitali's. Uppercuts could slow Holyfield down but Vitali doesn't have one.
I know V's loss to Byrd wasn't as straight froward as the result suggests but If you can't beat a diminutive Byrd then a big size advantage doesn't mean much when it comes to the crunch.Comment

Wladimir would have a lot better shot against Holyfield then Vitali would because Wladimir has a stiff jab that would give Holyfield problems. I don't think Vitali would beat Holyfield, but he has his chances. Holyfield proved he can beat a bigger man in Bowe.Comment

There might be some dispute as to when Holyfield was at his best. I don't believe it was when he weighed under 210lbs. I think the version who beat Tyson was better as he was stronger and punched a bit harder. Evander Holyfield would bring intensity to a fight with Klitschko. I don't think Klitschko would like that at all, but at the same time Commander Vander would have his work cut out. Hard to call. Holyfield obviously has the proven track record though.Comment

Who did Bowe beat that was remotely as big or good as Vitali?
Bowe has a good win over Evander, who else he beat? Golota punked him out twice.Comment
