his young undefeated lion was Pavlik... been there, done that

my point was that Adamek has achieved a lot more than Dawson since that fight anyway, and is looking like a different kettle of fish at CW

and Dawson is very beatable, for the record.

I know what you mean. Haters discredit Hopkins win over Pavlik due to the fact that Pavlik has no buisness doing anything out of Middleweight. A win over a natural Ligh heavyweight will leave everyone in awe. Me and you are Hopkins fans, as a Hopkins fan i'm telling you a win over Dawson will give every B-hop fan bragging rights against anyone who tries to mess with Hopkins resume. A win over adamek, well, look at everyone already saying Hopkins beats him easy and i gurantee Hopkins will be the betting favorite in that fight. No one has said anything about Hopkins beating Dawson easily. You understand that a win over Dawson at 44 will be the ultimate stamp in describing Hopkins resume? instead of a belt at CW against a guy who beats the hell out of B class fighters but lost to his only A class fighter. Chad Dawson.

And Dawson is very beatable, Well he beat Adamek so what does that make Adamek?

What has Dawson done to substantiate a claim as an A class fighter?

about the same as Adamek... less if you minus the head-to-head win, which i wont attempt to discredit as it's looking like a great win these days, at a weight which is seemingly not Adamek at his best

this is going around in circles so i'll just leave it at it is my opinion that Adamek is not only is the bigger legacy fight due to the extra lineal title in a new, higher weight division being at stake, but on recent resume merits too

on the subject of Pavlik... meh, let the haters hate but it gained Hopkins a new level of respect, and rightly so... He answered a Hell of a lot of questions in that fight

I wanna see this fight. Dawson's good, but I don't like him and I hope Bhop whoops him.

I like to use Hopkins going up to Light Heavyweight and beating Tarver as one of Hopkins biggest feats. Chad Dawson beat the **** out of Antonio Tarver;rejecting Dawson as an A Class fighter and ignoring his wins over Hopkins opponents is also taking that luster out of Hopkins wins over those opponents. Think about that. Alright man, I respect your opinion. Thanks for posting on my thread. Hope to see your posts on my future threads.

Johnson arguably beat Dawson in 2008, Hopkins took Johnson's 0 and TKO'd him in 1997

Hopkins ruined Tarver directly after his string of biggest and most impressive fights and wins, in B-Hop's first fight after jumping up two full weight divisions... Dawson beat his left overs 2 and a half years later

no bad feelings bro, i can see where you're coming from, i just disagree

Bernard can win this fight but Dawson's speed is gonna give him some problems. I see it being close like the Taylor fights but hopefully it aint too controversial if it ever happened.
