Bernard Hopkins should fight Chad Dawson

I'm a B-Hop fan(#3 on my all-time list) but Dawson(27(17)-0) beat Adamek(37(25)-1), and Dawson has been the only one to beat Adamek. If Hopkins beats Adamek, he'll be beating someone Dawson already beat regardless of the weight he did it in, plus everyone is already putting Hopkins as the heavy favorite so he won't be proving anything. A win over the undefeated Chad Dawson at Light heavyweight is too much better than a win and a 3rd belt at Cruiserweight against Dawson's Leftovers. Now if it was Hopkins/Haye at Cruiserweight, that's a diff story. Adamek=Too easy;not a legacy-improving name. Going out with 2 undefeated young names(Pavlik, Dawson) that are sure to do big things in the boxing game after Hopkins retires; Doing it at 44yrs old. Can you imagine how big Hopkins name will be when Pavlik/Dawson become Great great champions in the near fututre? What do you guys think?

Yeah it's understandable. I mean he's 44 but fought like 24 against a 26 year old. I think a 3rd belt/3rd division is great; but if he does that then he should also go up to heavyweight and fight Vitali. Adamek as a career ending name? Idk about that.

I agree to a point. Bhop....If he wins his fight with TA and how he wins , how good he looked and how good he feels...can decide that match up. But not at LIghtHW...Dawson should move up. Hopkins is the real deal if you to fight with him its on his terms..Dawson has nothing to bargain for. Hopkind don't need Dawson to be Great...He already achieved that...

I can be honest with myself as a Hopkins fan and say that Hopkins doesn't want Dawson because it's a bad style matchup for him at this point in his career. If this was a prime Hopkins who had yet to seal his legacy, then yes, he would deserve some criticism for not taking Dawson. At this point however the smarter thing to do is to take Adamek who is still a game opponent but manageable and capture a belt at cruiserweight.

I like that idea of Dawson moving up to Cruiserweight for Hopkins. I never thought of that. Sounds like a fight that should be made if Dawson beats up Tarver again and Hopkins Kicks Adameks ass. Hopkins/Dawson at Cruiserweight, Nice Post man.

He's 44, just one more fight or two and retirement, he should fight who he wants... it would look better for him if he wins a title on another weight class at 44.

I get what your saying though...

B hop is running away from Dawson. Bhop is the best at fighting guys at the right time. Adamek's time is now. He is 44 and he can fight who he wants but B hop is still an A Hole.
