Hop has never ran from any opponent. Why would he run from Dawson all of a sudden?

He is 44, and probably has 1 more bout left in him. Attempting to win a belt in another weight class is the obvious thing for him.

I don't think Hopkins is running away from Dawson.

The Ademek that fought Dawson and the dude that fights at 200lbs are two different beasts.

I have always admired that BHop stays in top shape and is the smartest Boxer. What clue he beat big name fighters that went up in weight to fight him. I'm not a Bhop fan but respect what he has done for the sport. Fans want a Dawson fight not a Adamek fight. If you don't think so your the 1 that needs to get a clue.

this is very true also, even not taking the obvious legacy benefits an Adamek fight brings into consideration

                beating Cunningham, Bell & Banks in a year @ 200lbs >>>>> beating a dead Tarver & losing to a very old Johnson @ 175lbs

Well with that said then why is Hopkins going with the easier more beatable Adamek that was beaten up by Dawson? Why not a Young Undefeated Lion on your resume to retire?

Nobody is arguing that. What we are debating is that he should fight Dawson not Adamek.
