So what then? What are we gonna do? Do you want me to tell Oscar that he should return the money of people who watched the fight because he was a fraud?..
LOL no, just saying that the victory over ODLH was not, and can not be proved as an impressive win for Pacquiao. Aside from the fact that not many people gave Pacquiao a chance before hand.

I think it's safe to say his trainer was with him more during camp. Say what you want, but Oscar was just old and beaten by the better fighter.

This is a pretty lame thread...Who beat Oscar better....lmao

Fact is Pacman is an offensive fighter who brings an in your face style that entertains fans who want blood and guts over a chess match.

Mayweather is the defesive fighter who likes to the play the chess match and mind games.

Pacman likes to get hit and usually even encourages it in his opponents. Mayweather avoids getting hit. An offensive fighter will always look better in a fight than a defensive fighter.

If the purpose of this thread is to claim who the better fighter is based on a fight against an aging Oscar, it wont get you anywhere. Wait until the end of 2009 when Pacman vs Mayweather will take place.

Pacman's a great aggressive fighter with more power then Mayweather but Mayweather's superior tactical boxing skills will prevail in the end. December 2009....make it happen!

And this is why people don't like Pacquiao.

              His delusional, ignorant, idiotic fans...

You guys maybe forget the mental aspects of the game. Oscar knew the talk of the town, saying how easily it would be for him to overpower Manny. Perhaps he let this go to his head and either A.) thought he could bully Manny very easily which is how it looked in the opening around, or B.) thought he would get hell later on for trying to coast a decision by keeping the tiny man off him with his jab only and staying on his bike. Basically both ideas I think happened. Oscar did throw his jabs acouple times but easily got discouraged when they went to the air or was counter under or over the top. At one point Manny landed a strong uppercut in the 2nd rd right under Oscar's jab which I'm sure made him hesistant to throw them from that point on. Weight drained or not, Oscar would have performed a lot better in the early rounds regardless when your at your strongest.

Hoya vs Mayweather was ****. At least Pac stopped him and to me thats more exciting. I watched the fight in a Winnipeg Casino full with like 3 thousand Phillipinos. So yea the Pac vs Hoya fight was way more exciting for me even though it was non competitive.

Um, you know Floyd-Oscar was **** when some of the people I viewed it with would take looong breaks to the kitchen to refill their drink, not really giving a **** about missing afew seconds in the rounds or talking in between rounds. Whereas when I watched Oscar-Pac, everyone was glued, not 1 person moved an inch, oh yeah and not 1 filipino was in the house. I think that tells you something.

Exactly! Pac is exciting and Floyd is'nt. Floyd just talks like he's exciting. Floyd will talk all this **** so that by fight time fans actually believe he's going to come out aggressive and then he just backpedals and pop shots. You would think we would all learn our lesson by now that when he talks the talk thats it he just talked some ****. Floyd will never be an agrressive fighter so I don't know why he talks like one.
