Would you have considered Eubank weight drained against Calzaghe because he did KILL himself to make 168? He entered a 2 week weight draining regime because he was planning to fight at 175 for a title.
Nacho and dundee doesnt seem to agree with you.

Like the previous poster said, established trainers disagree with you. Oscar was fine in training, didn't show any signs of being drained then.

And example of being weight drained would be Toney vs Jones Jr, James had to lose 40lbs in 6 weeks to make the weight. That is killing yourself to make the weight, that is not what Oscar had to do.

        Most trainers like who, Roach

Oscar has admitted he was weight drained, he even wrote an article on it. The number sign of weight drained is when you can’t throw a punch when you want to. Oscar described that feeling fighting Pacman.

Oscar was 20 lbs lighter in the ring than he was for his Cinco de Mayo fight with Mayweather. Oscar was as light in the ring as he had been in TWELVE years.

That alone should tell you that he made some bad weight decisions. 35 year olds don't drop THAT much weight without adverse effects.

No excuses. Pac beat the man they put in front of him. But that wasn't a solid version of Oscar. During the fight, the commentators were saying that the Diaz fight was more competitive for Pac. What does that tell you?

Oscar refused to talk about the loss for 3 months, then he comes forward and says that he's weight drained and you automatically accept his every word as pure truth. Eh?

His trainer said he looked good in training and was down to the limit for weeks. In my book, that is more important than Mosley's opinion. His trainer was with him right throughout the camp and didn't see any damaging effects. Therefore, he was not weight drained. He might have been overtrained, but that is a different matter.

If you don't like Pacquiao because you're a Mayweather fan, that's fine, but stop coming up with bull**** excuses to criticise everything Pacquiao achieves in the sport.

Wasn’t it truth Oscar was actually beaten up in sparring matches? The black eye he got, can’t remember from wh. Forbes bruised up Oscar at 150, and Forbes is feather fisted.

Mosley wasn’t there with him during the whole tour.?? Mosley and Oscar are pretty much *** buddies
