Still tho, I dont want to complain. It should be a good fight and JMM asked for it. This would be great for free HBO.
I agree with your post but Floyd is not a WW

Floyd is kind of like Judah, in that Judah fought at WW but he can make 140

Great fighters can fight above their natural weight class ( Roy Jones, Floyd, Pernell etc )

If Floyd is a WW then Cotto and Mosley are Jr MW's, Clottey and Williams are 160/168 lb fighters

Floyd has a weight difference on JMM but i don't see the problem with Floyd - Pac, although i still expect people to use the weight excuse despite Leonard getting credit for beating the smaller Duran, Pryor beating the smaller Arguello etc

You really think Mayweather can make 140 again?

He hasnt fought there in 4 years but maybe he could.

No your not honestly, your saying it is unfair for Floyd to fight somebody smaller than him but it is fair for him to fight someone bigger than him... were all wrong sometimes, I just disagree with you. Floyd has been fighting bigger guys than him virtually his whole career.

Is De La Hoya in the wrong for fighting Mayweather he was smaller? Is Margarito in the wrong for fighting Cotto? (just a few examples).

I aint nut hugging you know I am being fair but come on.

          oh yeah and Floyd sucks!
          hahahhaa
Haha, whatever you say buddy. Sorry my bad, I tried looking for one but couldn't find a half descent one... this was probably the best picture I could find.

If he fights him at 147, then yes. We'll have to wait and see if he fights him first, then what weight class it'll be.

How are fighting Welterweights bigger than him?? Do you honestly think he can make 140?? WW is his division now. Seriously

Floyd moved up one weight class to fight Oscar, in a way it was messed up for Oscar calling all the shots in the fight. But that's what you get when you fight Oscar. Both Margarito & Cotto are WWs. Did Cotto move up from being a lightweight to fight Margarito?? I dont' think so.

              I'm being fair too.

Oscar fighting Pac - ***** move

Floyd fighting Marquez - ***** move

                Floyd against:

Mosley .. bigger draw and and big welter
Cotto.. bigger draw and real welter
Pacquiao.. has proven he can crack at 147 (though with an old DLH) and bigger draw
Hatton (if winner against pac) bigger draw and has bigger frame

Marquez... ? no bigger draw and has proven nothing on higher weights

Floyd asking for tons of $ and Marquez is the smallest draw of all fighters mentioned above... what is the sense of fighting Marquez then? because he is top 2 P4P? How about fighting Vasquez because he is top p4p also?...

There is no reason for him to fight Marquez... not at all...

You said smaller... not lighter, so I misunderstood the interpretation. Either way, I bet you wouldn't complain if Floyd moved up to Middleweight to fight somebody, so why would it be different in this case. Seriously, it is only a sharpen up skills/tune-up fight... that is saying something considering it is against the P4P #2 fighter in the world, there is only an inch height difference so Marquez shouldn't have a problem fighting him at a catch weight.

Also, Marquez did call him out... so he wants the fight, meaning he knows what would be coming if he was to fight Mayweather and know the risks, etc. Just to point that out.

Believe me, I don't want him fighting smaller guys all the time... but if its his first fight out of retirement then I will understand, after that I would like to see him fight either Cotto, Mosley, Pacquiao.

I disagree with you saying it is a ***** move if it was his first fight out of retirement, considered as a tune-up fight to get rid of ring rust and sharpen his skills. If he then fought some welterweights as I already stated would you consider yourself happy? I would.
