Funny post!
And here I was thinking the only resemblence between Roy's two fights with Griffin and Williams' two fights with Quintana were in fact the first round knock outs. Cuz I didnt see Roy losing an embarassing decision to a fighter practically raised from the dead. Williams lost the first fight fair and square, I didnt hear or see anyone dispute the decision after he lost.
I dont rate Kolle or a Philips that previously got a gift decision against Spinks. If his career were to end after the Winky fight I'd remember him for being a good fighter with freakish features who built a decent career out of shouting he was ducked. Its funny how some people forget Williams has ducked as many fighters who have ducked him (Dzinziruk and Clottey).
At this point I dont think Williams is what his fans make him out to be. I dont know how Winky will perform so theres a chance Williams wins this, I still wouldnt think a prime Winky couldve lost though.Comment

Paul Williams is nasty. He is an extremely tough out for anyone from 147-160. The Quintana loss was a fluke as proven by his first round KO in the rematch- as Roy's loss to Griffin was proven to be bull****. He's beaten Margs fair and square, who is a world class WW with or without bricks in his gloves, crushed the very durable Verno Phillips, and ko'd a serviceable MW in the first round.
He is a 6'1 volume puncher with pop and boxing skills. He fights tall but can **** inside. He's very tall for a WW and tall for a JMW. He needs to fight whoever he can to get his name out there because there are vry few people out there who might be able to beat him. I'd favor him over everyone at WW including Mayflower. At 154 like him at even money or favored over everyone.
whats a fluke? being outboxed for 12 rounds or catching someone cold in the first round?Comment

Funnier post. So you don't think pwill looked just a bit uninspired against Quintana? Maybe just a tad? I already answered the thing about Serg D. Also, excellent job selectively critiqing his opposition. You don't rank Phillips, holy **** I'm going to call The Ring and tell them to change their rankings and to make sure they check with you next time.Comment

Nice post. I would answer that Quintana don't want no mo! I can say with 99.9% certainty that the Quintana win over a listless, sleepy pwill. Now here's a lesson since you are obviously not astute- you may want to check out a fighters body of work when you talk **** about them. At very least check boxrec, usually the guy with a way better record/comp will be the one who is the better fighter. Especially when the lesser fighter is left catching z's.Comment
