I just hope that the person that fights him knocks him back into retirement! I'm tired of Floyd trying to claim he's the best when he don't want to fight the best. People want to talk sh.it about Cotto, but he fought Margarito and is about to fight Clottey when nobody wanted them. That's a lot more than what can be said about Mayweather.

hes fighting Clottey because HBO tuened down Cotto-Cintron. look im a Rican and a big Cotto fan, but he was trying to fight 3 cupcakes in the last 4 fights. Mayweather has done nothing but fight the best, and when he comes back hes gonna fight the best once again. I dont think my boy Cotto gets past Clottey anyways...

I am not against these scenarios, but I feel a fight with berto is better than a fight with jmm.

Mayweather was avoiding Cotto, because he lost with cheato, he's saying he has nothing to prove, but who cares if he come back, all he does is running like a ***** on the ring.

I have never seen Mayweather run like JOTTO was doing against Margs in the 11th round but ran out of gas...Or maybe what DLH did in the last 3 rds of his fight with Trinidad..That is what u call running my child.

One thing you guys are forgetting is that Floyd Mayweather Jr is in GREAT physical condition always. The guy trains like a mad man and puts in 15min round sparring sessions. The only way I can see someone whipping his ass is if he comes in the ring completely off of his game & fell off big time but don't think that has happened. He faked his whole retirement to take some time off it's looking like. I noticed that people keep mentioning Miguel Cotto but if you really look at everything in a whole, Cotto is damaged goods right now and we really have to see how he can compete against a tough, top contender and Clottey will show where he is at.

I would like to see a Cotto/Mayweather fight (even though I know Floyds takes it) but it will be good to see them finally in the ring together. I just think Miguel Cotto had a shot at the big boys and would have been in Schaeffers list like Pac was (Even though he is not Golden Boy) but facts are facts and that is the Margarito loss put Cotto in back of the line. Cotto would have to beat Clottey then Rematch Mosley and win then it will make sense for Cotto/Mayweather. Before the Margarito loss Cotto and Mayweather was building a heated debate and Rivalry but again last July put the breaks on that. In an interview I read that Floyd said he is ready to fight anyone except DLH so people be patient and lets wait for his official un retired press conference.

3 cupcake fights? So fighting antonio Margarito is a cup cake fight? First of he wanted to fight cintron in his return who a top ten welterweight the fight fell through and bob arum put him against Jennings instead. Then when asked who he wanted to fight in june after the fight he said ill fight clottey(who no one wants to fight) or mosley or pac/hatton winner. Never once did he mention cintron. He said hell fight clottey and thats whats happening.

like Cotto was doing against Margarito?? actually its better than that because he doesnt get hit. did anybody watch Alio fight, or you guys just start watching boxing
