Oh I thought you meant Dawson had a bad performance, because that's how I took this thread. You think Diaconu could beat Chad? I've never seen him fight.

Yup. Kessler and Pavlik have mastered the art of defending against garbage after garbage.

Now that I'm understanding the thread question. I'll go with Sam Peter's defense against Vitali. I couldn't stand that whole champion emeritus crap.

How can it be a bad defence if he lost?

A Bad defence is someone who has no chance of beating the champion, how could Vitali be a bad defence if he beat Peter.

Ok, Peter making a defence against a better fighter than him is bad, lol.

Well from that perspective, no it is not a bad defense. But the thread is about people who do not deserve the title shot to me. In my mind Vitali did not deserve that fight, just my opinion.

I think Dawson would probably win a decision against Diaconu, but Dawson's chin isn't the best and Diaconu is a strong puncher. So it would be a risky fight for Dawson.

Fair enough. Is he exciting? Worth watching?

I think Taylor defending his middleweight title against Spinks was pretty bad.
