What does that have to do with the heavyweight division?

So he is lucky and doesn't deserve a shot at Wlad which means he won't beat Wlad and won't get the titles so don't worry.
If he wins then he proves he was worthy of a shot at Wlad.

This far-fetched idea you have of 'earning a shot' by fighting a long line of fighters by rank in each division no matter what past achievements are is a long way off reality.

The heavyweight division and the Klitschkos might be grateful for the publicity generated by a loud-mouthed, confident unified cruiserweight champion.

this is the first intriguing matchup in the heavies in a long time ... people complain, then a great fight tries to get made and people still complain ... no maybe haye's hasnt earned it but who gives a **** if its a fight that many wanna see and is good for boxing ...

Michael Spinks moved up to Heavyweight and fought Larry Holmes for the lineal title in his first fight at the weight.

Bob Foster did the same vs. Joe Frazier.

Manny Pacquiao is challenging Hatton for his lineal Jnr Welterweight title in his first fight at the weight.

Hopkins plans to fight for Adamak's lineal Cruiserweight title in his first fight at the weight.

There are literally hundreds of other other examples of a dominant champion moving up in weight and fighting for a title in his first fight. Haye is the only one who has ever been called "undeserving".

Maybe so, but Wlad will get no credit because Haye is supposed to lose this fight. Lets hope I'm wrong.

I think Haye would win... but then again, you can't be sure

this fight could have 2 things happen.(1)haye turns in a corrie sanders like performance.jumps on wlad early & knocks him out.(2)haye turns into the next michael grant.wlad destroys haye early.interesting fight indeed but unlikely to go beyond 5 rounds
