I understand why you mean mate, I dislike the way he ducked Witter who we all knew was a threat to Hatton (Except for his nuthugger/fanatical fans) Who i dont really count has boxing fans....and the way he likes to hide behind those fans and the way he basically mug them of their money but hate is a very strong word but i do understand what you're getting at though.

I never claimed you said that, I'd place a bet that you'd think he would be if he beat Pacman based on your lack of understanding of the sport. For instance you claimed hatton is the undisputed king of the 140 division when he's only the IBO/RING magazine champ @ said weight. Oh and he did duck Witter how else can you explain refusing to fight the WBC champion willing to take a 30-70 cut then going on to fight Lazcano instead, a man who lost to Vivian Harris who Junior Witter K.Od ? lol.

Are my reasons for hating him really that ******? The way he treated Barrera and Billy Graham was disgusting in my opinion ? I don't see how that's a ****** reason for hating somone? He shows no loyalty to people who were close to him, he trys to get as much money as possible even if he doesn't deserve it and it could potential cost us a fight and he uses the British fans for nothing but money. I'm sorry but I just don't see how I CAN'T hate him when taking all that into consideration? I respect him as a fighter he's good but man he's nowhere near as good as he or the majority of the British public think he is as a boxer and as a human being? He's ****ing garbage, **** on my shoes.
I tried to read this at stay the hell out, but u got me on that last one.
The way he treated Billy Graham? People were telling him for over a year to leave him to help him be the best he could possibly be. He stayed with him through LOYALTY. Only when it came completley clear that Graham had taken Hatton as far as he could he left, and it wasn't an easy decision for him. What would u want him to do, say, u know what fu.ck it, I dont care about becoming the best anymore, Im staying with my trainer, even though he had to inject his hands with pain killers everytime they did pad work. the man couldnt even tell how hard hatton was hitting the pads ffs

It's what he wrote about Graham after that narked me. I read it in I think the ring magazine? Hatton was saying how old, fragile and basically useless Graham had become...totally degrading the man I mean yeah obviously he can't stick with him but he could of kept Graham around still instead of just disowning the guy and degrading him publicly in an article. I'll try find it for you when I cbf.

If u can show us that fair enough I never read it, I thought u were on about him leaving him.
I remember reading in the paper Hatton saying that his hands were fecked, but it was in a much nicer way than u were saying, alomst in a sympathetic way. Or maybe we read the exact same interview and ure Hatton hatred made u interpret it your way and my Hatton love made me interpret it my way!!

Ricky Hatton is great fighter and a great guy. No hate thread contradicting that will ever change my mind. You should be happy that your country has such a lovable character as your current boxing idol. You could be stuck with a lot worse.

Another thing. F Junior Witter. The guy sucks and he never deserved a fight with Hatton after all the crap he was talking.

              One more thing,

              There's only one Ricky Hatton.

But he hasn't even beaten the top contenders at 140.
He proved it when he beat Tszyu. He then beat a top opponent+fellow belt holder (Maussa), a belt holder at 147 (Collazo), came down and beat another belt holder (Urango). He also beat JLC. Castillo was shot, but going into the fight he'd done more to suggest that he was a decent opponent than Edner Cherry.

The Lazcano win isn't worth much, but Malignaggi was rated top 5 by most, so it's a good win.

That's a solid resume. It's not spectacular, but it's good enough to be considered the best in the division.

If you're going to argue that Hatton shouldn't be seen as numero uno at LWW, then who do you place above him? Bradley and Holt simply have not done enough.

Personally, I think the division is split hence Hatton needing to fight better opposition to prove he is THE LWW champ. I'm not saying Bradley or Holt are better than Hatton nope they'd need to prove it for me to believe it but at the same time they're not saying they're the number 1 LWWs and it's their divison like Hatton is and for me to be okay with Hatton saying that he needs to beat Witter and Bradley. Honestly, I can see Witter giving Hatton nightmares and landing some big hooks that Hatton has been caught with before...Hattons resume is a good resume yes but is it good enough to call him the undisputed 140er? No. Not when there's people like Bradley and Witter out there. Although, I think Witters done now personally but 2 years ago he would of bust Hatton up imo and there was no excuse for Hatton to not take that fight really...30-70 cut WBC title, just no excuse not to take it.

Malignaggi is not of the same Caliber as Holt/Bradley/Witter sorry...especially when his most notable performances were a 12 round loss to Cotto and a split decision win over Lovemore (Although he did UD him a year prior to that I believe?). Kosta was old lets face it I'm not saying that to discredit Hatton, it was still a very capable Kosta in there but it wasn't as if Hatton was fighting a young, hungry champion. Catillo was shot to pieces it doesn't take much to look better than Edner Cherry (lol). I never saw the Maussa fight, can't comment on it.

It's not that I place people above Hatton as to why I don't think he's the no.1 LWW, it's that he hasn't proven it by beating the top LWWs. Listen I don't mind people saying "Hatton is probably the best LWW" or "the most accomplished LWW at this moment" but if Hatton wants to go around saying "140 IS MY DIVISION" and proclaiming how he's the best in that division then he needs to go out there and prove it against the fighters that count. Not against people like Lazcano and Malignaggi.

I really don't like Hatton either.

I think he is a fraud and I don't just mean in the ring!

When ever you watch a build-up to anytime Hatton fights all you hear from the people around him is "Ricky just a normal bloke blah blah". Which just isn't true! Just because he gets drunk and eats kebab's don't make him normal. Ricky Hatton as mentioned above USES his fanbase to negotiate more money for HIMSELF! He has a terrible habbit of referring to himself in the 3rd person and he always wears his name on his clothing.

The guy is just a tit!

                      PS:

His father is the most vile money grabbing arsehole ever to grace the sport of boxing. He literally makes me physically sick!
