Thats a solid list. Nothing but absolute legends in Floyds 4th weight class.

Says a lot about Floyd. Thanks

Leonard, Hearns, Robinson (admittedly the footage I've seen of him around WW was awful quality though), Duran. Mayweather would have plenty of trouble against the likes of Starling, Benitez, Curry, Whitaker, late 90s DLH, Quartey, Paul Williams (who'd absolutely dwarf PBF and have about 15 lbs on him on fight night), etc...

Mayweather is a great boxer, but more suited to the lighter weights.

          I'm not listing guys twice
147: Hearns, Leonard, Robinson, Whitaker, Benitez, Trinidad, Oscar (prime) is debateable
          140: Pryor
          135: Duran, Armstrong, Chavez, Mosley
          130: Arguello, Saddler, Nelson maybe.

Agree with this list but I think he stays away long enough from Tito to out point him.

In my opinion, the ones in bold would beat Mayweather. Whitaker vs Floyd, it can go either way

prime mosley at 135, I think and probably at 147 also. Don't think floyd could stand and trade with a prime shane, and mosley is underrated as a pressure fighter too, either way i wouldn't like floyd's chances although would be a tough fight for both guys

oh and prime pac and marquez, and morales too think would have given floyd hell at 130, seeing as he really struggled with the weight

I think Mosley's chances versus Mayweather are better at 147.

Everyone talks about Mosley being so much better at 135, but he was facing much lesser opposition at 135, and later talked about being more comfortable physically at 147 and not draining himself to make 135. Mosley looked brilliant in most of his fights @ 147 pre-Forrest (except the Rivera fight which he had some problems). Where as Mayweather looked undersized at 147, and slower as well.

Your right about the level of competition at 135, not sure... I think its a real tough fight for floyd style wise at 135,140, or 47. Don't think he would have had the speed advantage he has against other fighters if any, and not sure floyd had the pop to keep mosley off him. It would have been nice to see floyd fight someone the caliber of a prime mosley though
