    Manny is indeed fast......

A case could be made that Collazo is a heavier hitter than Pac, but Hatton was badly shaken by his big punches, he certainly didn't walk through them.

It's not a slam dunk that Mayweather Jnr punches harder than Pac does, and Hatton certainly didn't walk through his punches - he got knocked out and took a beating for several rounds before that. It was Floyd's speed rather than his power that beat Hatton, and Pac is probably as fast as Floyd is, although he has an inferior defence.

Urango is possibly a bigger puncher than Pac, but that's not a slam dunk either, and Hatton didn't walk through any bombs from him either.
But his lack of defense will get him in all sorts of trouble because Hatton knows how to close in on a fighter. Manny has the speed advantage over Hatton & that's pretty much it, but Hatton is fast too, not as fast as Manny but he's NO Diaz or Oscar. It takes Manny an accumulation of punches to do damage & I'm sure that Hatton will not let Manny beat up on him like Diaz & Oscar did. Manny's going to be in an action packed fight like the one he was in with Marquez. I like Manny & think he is a very good fighter but not that convinced that he is going to come into Hatton's domain at 140 & make a fool out of him and knock him out when no one else could.

Manny takes a punch to give a punch. Marquez was countering him all day & all Manny could do was wait for an opening to get off. Not comparing Hatton/Marquez but if Hatton can get Manny into a brawl out, then the advantage could be in Ricky's favor. Manny has yet to be tested by an elite challenge above 130 (Diaz/De La Hoya don't count) so we really don't know how Manny will do against someone as aggressive and strong as Hatton, so all these Manny's gonna kill Hatton posts? Not buying it.

Pac did get rocked by a few shots from JMM that can't be denied. Hatton may not be as skilled as JMM but he can hit harder thats for sure..

        Or maybe not.

Look, we can't have someone who says "bokkle" and "kekkle" beating Manny. It's just wrong!

Other than having it about 60/40 to Pac, I agree with that statement.

The thing is if you respond to idiot posts by exaggerating yourself, I think it undermines your case and makes you look biased, whereas I now realise that you are a lot more objective and knowledgeable than I had thought.

I agree with everything you said except the bit about speed being Manny's only advantage. He has better overall boxing skills, IMO. Whether he'll be able to use them effectively or whether Hatton will be able to lure him into a war of attrition is the big question that won't be answered until the fight.
