Pac is right handed. There are many who convert to southpaw and master it. If it so much of an advantage why don't everyone just go southpaw.. DLh was a southpaw converted to orthodox. You are what you are.. If Gatti only had three arms.. Check whay your sayin guy... It is an advantage but does not in any way or form diminish their accomplishments.I love Pac but I put him in that catagory with Calzaghe and alot of these other guys in that they have a huge advantage by being southpaw. There opponets either cant see there punches coming or they can see it and cat stop it. Ive had heated debates on here alot about how much of an advantage southpawes have and alot of people try to blow it off but thats garbage. They have the biggest advantage that you can have. Pac is great but if he wasnt a Southpaw then he definatly woundt be a P4P elite and the same goes for CalzagheComment

Does it means a southpaw has an equal problem of dealing with co-southpaws??? Because your story line tells that, an orthodox stance fought opponents 90 percent as in co-orthodox stance and they are used to it, and alienated facing a southpaw that might possibly a big factor of their loses. That means a southpaw facing an orthodox stance is also a 90 percent probability and they used to it, but facing co-southpaw which is just a 10 percent possibilty will pose problem as the same way the orthodox facing southpaws???I disagree. Im a righty who also fights as a Southpaw because thats my natural stance. I dont beleive that people pick what to do. 99% of people just go off what they feel comrotabl with but that still doesnt take away from the fact that being a Southpaw is a huge advantage because it just is. Southpaws fight a righty in over 90% of there fights but a righty hardly ever see's a Southpaw

This website is becoming a bit of a joke now with all these Pac nuthuggers coming out the woodwork with the slightest bit of hype/news about Pacquiao - might as well be Pacland. So what, he KO'd a nobody in sparring, big deal. We all know he has accurate, fast punches and catching a sparring partner who has only been boxing two years, with a record of 7-0-1 against fellow nobodies is not exactly difficult for the #1 p4p fighter in the world! You're not giving him his dues if you're suprised by this. If people think that Hatton is going to be the same quality opposition, seeing as though he is the champ at 140 with over 40 fights and only 1 loss against another p4p #1 at 147, they are gravely mistaken. I don't mind Pacquiao as he really is a great fighter, but his fans are what irritate me the most when I hear people come out with such ridiculous comments.Last edited by - JCHING -; 03-18-2009, 02:03 PM.Comment
