Chavez's problem is that he would be physically and mentally overmatched. He would have no hope against an elite athlete like Floyd because he just ain't on his level. All Chavez could rely on would be his heart, and that's not enough. It wouldn't be even a little surprising if Floyd TKO'd a prime Chavez from a steady accumulation.

Chavez is more like Castillo than the other two though. Only Chavez is twice as good as Castillo.

Chavez is stronger, and hits harder than Castillo, has a better chin too.
Mayweather faster stronger smarter and has a better chin than Taylor

Floyd beats Chavez on the inside too.

That bodyjab would have him folded-over and tired as hell going into the later rounds.

Taylor kept BOTH of his hands down by his waist.

His defense was like William Joppy's..only WORSE.

Floyd is leagues above Randall and has far better offense and strenght than Pernell.

Chavez had enuff trouble with featherfisted slapped Taylor...Floyd is 10x's the fighter Taylor was.

Floyd had a PLAN B...he can fight backwards or forewards..and skilled BEAT BIGGER MEN..

Chavez didn't have a plan B..his only way to adjust is to QUIT.

Depends on how you look at it. The key is they are both active fighters who through a **** load of punchers. Mayweather does not.

What cant you understand that Taylor/Randall dont have to better allround fighters than Floyd for their style to give Chavez trouble?

Mayweather has NEVER fought a fighter of Chavez calibre in their prime. He had enough trouble with Castillo who was a B+ fighter, and an old DLH. I dont know why people make out he is perfect when he has obvious flaws just like any other fighter.

Mayweather throws a lot of punches at 135 and below. Mayweather lets his hand go against peiple his size.

Again the only department Pernell beats Floyd is defense. Floyd is faster stronger better power better chin.

How is Castillo B+ when he was in the P4P ranking for a while. He is a B+ fighter after he lost to Mayweather lol

Yes, he fought an injured Floyd. A moving up Floyd. Look at Castillo face during the fight and after
