Hyping UK sports talent is a common thing in the UK.

In the UK, the biggest sports we have are basically football (soccer), tennis and cricket.

When someone achieves something like winning the olympics in boxing which is a sport that a lot of people dont really know about in the UK, the press will hype till their hype fingers are on fire and they can do it easily, because it's not a sport that the general public will know a lot about.

It used to be the same with our Track and Field contestants. Since their win in the 4x100 relay, they were hyped and hyped and hyped, but never really achieved anything after, so now our media and commentators have finally stopped doing it.

There's also Tim Henman. He showed a lot of promise as a good Tennis player and the media ****** onto him quicker than Usain Bolt. After that, he really never achieved much and failed time and time again till the media finally stopped hyping him.

Long story short, the UK media LOVES to hype young talent till their socks blow off and it usually leaves the person they're hyping in the ****.

Let's see if Khan can Break the mold . I dont think it's gonna happen with that chin/lack of power, but we'll never know.

Oh and Khan would NEVER fight Prescott again, and he knows the rematch will NEVER happen.

Can someone imbed round one of prescotts last fight on here (I'd do it but I dont know how )? Watch that fight. Prescott is WAY too sharp and WAY too powerful for Khan.

1.Khan doesn't have the power in his hands to make Prescott respect him when he's throwing those flurries. Prescott is a guy who would rather hit back when he is getting hit instead of covering up and he can take a punch.

2.Prescott hits like a ****ing mule imo. Khan has never been hit as hard as that. Khan has a dodgy defence (though seemingly improving somewhat we're yet to see it stand up against an actual attack under pressure) and a glass chin. Do the math.

3.Watch the first round of Prescotts last fight. If Prescott ever cuts off the ring, Khan is gone for and I can see the same thing happening again unless Khan finds a way to make Prescott respect him with power.

Since winning the title hatton has not fought a single fighter outside the top ten in the division the fight was in and he has fought 4 top ten P4P fighters inc 2 P4P No1.

1. Khan has a bigger fanbase than most UK fighters.

2. The people who ARENT his fans would EASILY pay money to see the "****y young guy" get sparked out again.

3. Even if they're not his fan, a LOT of people know the name Amir Khan because of the massive amounts of media he gets. He even had his own TV show.

4. Like the man said, it's a chance for Khan to either show that he can hang with a big puncher, or a chance for a big puncher to show that the KO wasn't just a "mistake" and that he really just cant take a heavy puncher.

5. If the fight is against a person who KO'd what the media are calling the UKs best fighting prospect, it will get peoples attention because they'll know there will either be another KO, or there will be a good fight.

People will want to see that easily.

Either way like I said before, Khan cant and wont beat Prescott any time soon and the fight wont be made because if I can see it, Warren can see it.
